Your Ozzy/Sabbath Dream(s)?

Question:

I had one a while ago that was really weird. It was a time when I was going through a rough time and i was somewhat depressed. But not to bore you with the details, heres the dream (the best I can remember): I walked into a bar (ozzy in a bar? no!!), and there he was, sitting at a table, sipping on his beverage. It was dark and smoky in there. Anyway, he invited me to sit down. And we talked about my problems. It was weird! I had a similar dream with David Gilmour and Pete Townsend.

Response:

>I just remembered another one. I had been >looking at rare stuff all day, and I went to >Montreal, and in a store I found this album >called "Dark Night on a High Hill" it was so >sweet. It had a picture of Birmingham from up >on a hill. And when I played it, I heard these >songs that don’t exist one which I remember >and I wrote down. Maybe some day I’ll post it.

That’s trippy – you should post that! I’ve had a couple dreams about Ozzy songs I’ve never heard too, but the foggy memory of how the song went would rapidly evaporate upon awakening, although the awesome feeling would remain. That reminds me also, of dreams I experienced more frequently before the advent of the internet in my life. Before then, I relyed upon TV, radio, magazines and newspapers for factual information about Ozzy. So I’d often dream of finding a new rock magazine featuring Ozzy which I’d find a day or so later, Ozzy being interviewed on an entertainment show or his video beig debuted on MTV and seeing it within a week or so. In some cases, however, I feel that the dream itself was an impetus; for example, I started being more aware and taking a more active stance in seeking out possible sources of information. Just like having a dream of being late for a concert was the impetus for me getting ready earlier! : )
