CHERRI I HAVE TO AGREE THE LINEUP THIS YEAR DOESN’T LOOK TOO GOOD TO ME EITHER. LAST YEARS LINE UP WAS MUCH MUCH BETTER. IT DOESN’T MATTER CAUSE OZZY IS NOT PLAYING IN MY CITY THIS YEAR OR ANY WHERE NEAR IT SO I’M GLAD I DON’T LIKE THE LINE UP AND KIND OF BITTER TOO. GIA

I agree, the reality set in after seeing him on that special Thursday night, and the mentioned fears of never being on stage again. That and the dozen articles I read today regarding the reality of him probably not even being there at all. Me personally, I don’t find the lineup all that appealing this year, and some I’ve never even heard of. If Ozzy is a no show, than without hesitation I am backing out of this year. Is Jack still in charge of signing these bands for the tour or what? >I thought the exact thing…i think there will be >alot of cancelled dates for OZZY :(

That will be a major bummer, cause I was really looking forward to a party with the froup folks in WPB this summer, and all of us partying with  Ozzy. I highly doubt that anyone would make the trip on that alone, if Ozzy isn’t there. When do they usually post the tour dates? If I recall, they announced it by this time last year, if not earlier.

Be prepared for lots of cancelled dates as the tour grinds on throughout the Summer.  It’ll be worse then the last tour. It’s a shame because this is easily the best lineup in years. JC

Ozzy Defying Doctors To Play Ozzfest February 18, 2004 Rocker Ozzy Osbourne is defying doctor’s orders to go on the road for his famous Ozzfest tour this summer, so a medical team will be there by his side. The ex-Black Sabbath star is still convalescing after his near-fatal 4-wheeler bike crash in December, and his medical advisors have told him he still needs at least six months to recover from his injuries – but Osbourne is determined to perform at the Ozzfest. A source tells the Pagesix website. "His doctors have said he needs six to eight months of rehab, which will end exactly when Ozzfest begins. "His doctors did not want him to do the tour, but he insisted, so he is planning on having a team of doctors travel with him. Onstage, Ozzy will have several well-placed chairs and poles to assist him if he should need to sit or stand during performances." However, a representative for Osbourne counters, "There will not be a slew of doctors on the road." …I saw three other articles today, saying basically the same thing, that he is playing no matter what! Wooohooooo!! …It’s time to seriously put the plans into effect, to all meet up in WPB this summer. If this story is not convincing enough, i will post the other similar ones, or everyone can just wait for the official lineup schedule to come out for Ozzfest 2004. Either way start making plans for
