Hey i seen Rand’s name so i had to respond.Metallica and Ozzy are my two favorites.I am a guitarist .Kirk Hammett and Randy are my two favorites.I love the way both of them play.Though its hard to say who is better.I think if Randy would have still been alive today he would be the best ever.But i disagree Kirk is not overrated.I love their playing equally.But the reason Kirk is first is not because he’s better it’s because he has been alive to put way any more albums.This is a very good topic.I would like to see what others think.My opinion is that players like Hendrix and Van Halen are over rated.Randy could have kicked both their asses.
