Well Metalica isn’t cool enough to do a Frank song, or they are too cool, not sure which one. Noveselic would not join a band like that, they are the type of band Nirvana used to poke fun at, the corporate rockers. I saw Metalica in a club in 1984 with Cliff Burton on bass, it was the total shit, but that was a long time ago and since then they have sadly become a parody of themselves.
