I love the National Acrobat section, and overall I think it’s a very good track. >I hear, however, that there are sound check recordings of Metallica >doing Symptom of the Universe. Anyone herad anything about that?
I have a bootleg from the Black Album tour which has them doing part of Symptom during the concert, so I guess it’s nothing too new

>only one cover…sabbra cadabra
/Disgruntled Rant And, given the two bands in question (Sabbath and Metallica); what a /SHITTY/ choice. (at least, imho). Why couldn’t they /at least/ do a song w/ some BALLS on it, like ‘Killing Yourself To Live’, or ‘Children Of The Grave’. Then again, the other cover song off of there IS ‘Turn The Page’ (‘Nuff Said). (Imagine seeing Metallica go from "master of puppets" to "snowblind" in concert….now /THAT/ would rock) A local rag here did an article on Metallica and put it best. (to paraphrase): "Metallica has gone from being an innovative Heavy Metal band wich blew the doors off of the competition, to being a very competent AOR band" And that, My friends, sucks the chrome offa fender. /Disgruntled Rant Off -RL, who’s going off to BLAST "the fourhorsemen" until his ears bleed – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->– >Official Gorjan’s place on the Web >http://www.grf.hr/~gorjanc > Garage shit has some pretty impressive performances of BS covers. > Anyone heard it?
