Hello Everyone, This is my first post to this group, and it’s a question, but does anyone have any good settings to get a good Slash sound from a Marshall AVT50, I have just got this amp it is top but I can’t seem to get a halfway decent Slash style sound from it. Has anybody got any suggested settings for this style or any other rock band. I am specifically looking for Led Zep, Skynyrd, GNR and Metallica style settings if poss. but any will do… Is there a website specifically for this sort of thing? I am specifically looking for Led Zep, :Skynyrd, GNR and Metallica style settings if poss. but any will do… I don’t have an AVT50, but the settings Slash uses on his amp are as follows: Clean : Presence 0, Bass 9, Mid 3, Treble 5.5, Gain 4 Dirty : Presence 7, Bass 7, Mid 4.5, Treble 7, Gain 6.5, Preamp vol. 10 Of course, he has separate heads for his clean and dirty channels with different tubes installed. These settings should be good for starters, though. The important thing is not to overdose on the gain for the distorted sound. :Is there a website specifically for this sort of thing?
