Hi all. My name is David Erickson, and I’m looking for some people around my age (16) to start a band with. I have decent equipment, so I’m no time waster if that’s what you think. I play guitar, and I’m looking for other guitarists, bassists, vocalists, drummers, etc around the Melbourne area. I’m 16, I’ve been playing guitar for about 4 years, and I would prefer to get together with people who live in the northern suburbs, ie. Essendon/Coburg/Broadmeadows/Keilor area. I play a Washburn G5v with a Seymour Duncan Humbucker, an Explorer copy, and I use a Marshall 8080 Valvestate and Crybaby Wah. My names Dave McNiel (as the signature suggests) I’ve been playing for 11 years and definiotely prefer rhythm. I want to play anything heavy, preferably originals (no, i don’t have any) with a Metallica….. (include all good heavey stuff here) influence and some covers. I can adapt to pretty much anything. I have a Kramer 620st with Seymor Duncans, a shitty Les Paul copy for 2nd tunings, a steel string semi acoustis with a cutaway (ONYX) a Yamaha 100 watt 212 amp and Zoom 9000 FX B.Eng (Communication & Electronic) | part of this world.
