Question:

Satch plays bass?  I don’t know if i can allow that.  The dude has done more to screw us bassists than most people.

Response:

>I need a list of bass-players, which band they have played in and play >in… and what records they play on.

Ok, that’s going to be a pretty long list.  Just professional or professional and semi-professional?  Just current or ever since the bass was first invented?  You’re looking at possibly several thousand entries to this list.  You might as well ask "I need a list of people that live in Texas."  Actually, the boundaries for that querry would be much clearer.     Oh well, I’m game.  Here’s my contribution to the list: 1.)    Jason Newstead – Metallica (I’m not going to list the albums they are on, you can do some work yourself) 2.)    Flea – Red Hot Chili Peppers 3.)    Rhonda S. – The Artist Formerly Known as Prince and the New Power Generation 4.)    Les Claypool – Primus 5.)    Victor Wooten – Solo Artist 6.)    Gene Simmons – KISS 7.)    Tom Hamilton – Aerosmith Oh well, that’s enough for me.  Hope this helps.
