I have several CDs from BMG, and none of them are any thicker or thinner than other CDs I own. The REAL reason why BMG sells CDs cheaper is that they license them from other labels and produce them in-house or through other licensing agreements. All BMG CDs I own have the following note on them: "Mfd. for BMG Direct Marketing, Inc. Under License." Being digital, BMG CDs also sound no different than the versions sold by the original labels. -Citroeniste

If you got this cd through BMG it might be a little thicker than a standard cd. This is also why BMG gives them away for so cheap.

My CD player doesn’t want to give up my CD for some reason. I have had this happen 2-3 times prior in the last year or so and have gotten it to eject after playing for a short while, but this time my player seems to have grown fonder of Metallica than I have and refuses to spit it out. Admittedly, I don’t change CDs frequently so it had been in over a month before I tried to eject it. I think I won’t do that anymore once I get my CD back! Is there a manual override anywhere on the player chassis? I noticed a small hole on the panel just to the right of the CD slot. If not, how the heck do you get the player out of the dash? I have done it on a 93 Civic and it was a pain, but the center console kickpanel area of the Accord doesn’t come out as a separate piece like the Civic so I don’t see how I can get to the fasteners.
