Same here, plus a heavy dose of soul, disco and latin. If I had to chose though, it would have to be funk. Heyko — http://www.besonic.com/1stTakeAllstars

I don’t really care what they play as long as they are entertaining. I hate seeing bands that just stand there and play and never address the audience.

Louis Armstrong said: There’s only two kinds of music, GOOD & BAD. Duke Ellington said: If it sounds good…IT IS GOOD. so I guess I like good music that sounds good. ymmv. epp

There’s something I like in just about every genre. My least favorite genre would have to be Country. Although there are a few exceptions there as well.

It has been a looooong long time since I walked in a bar that has a band. However if that would happen I wish they would play some music from the 70’s like. Some Genesis, Beggars Opera, Yes, Cobham, Flock etc …. Please tell me where that bar, with this band is and I go there

DING DING DING We have a wiener! Actually, unless the band I play with has an opening act, or we’re opening for someone, I don’t usually go to see bands at all. If I do, it better be original and good. I don’t want to walk into a club and hear "Some Kind of Wonderful" unless it’s done in a fresh new way. And even then I don’t want to hear it. Where ya been Mark? Haven’t seen you ’round these parts much. If there’s room for politics here, there must be room for a drummer! :o) Jay S
