Superbowl Halftime prediction

Question:

Prediction: Shania Twain: Nice little piece of stuff, bad pop song. No Doubt: No care. 1995 revisited. Sting: Stink.   Unless he surprises with the Andy and Stewart. 0.4% chance. BTW, bet on the ex-Redskin q-back. Sure bet.

Response:

No Doubt: At least they played live…no lip sync, and live playing. Sting…he must really hate those guys. 2/3 pretty good half show…best in a while. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > Prediction: > Shania Twain: Nice little piece of stuff, bad pop song. > No Doubt: No care. 1995 revisited. > Sting: Stink.   Unless he surprises with the Andy and Stewart. 0.4% > chance. > BTW, bet on the ex-Redskin q-back. They might have sang some of it live but they didn’t play live.. But it (Well No Doubt..) sounded live, and that’s what counts. I loved the sparklee bras the gals had on. Outt.. Jeff.

The Shania Sawyer-Lange was all track and lip sync. No Doubt / No Police played live. I heard a muff or two on the playing.   Was looking to see a couple of muffs too…close but no cigar. :-)

Gwen and Sting both sang live.  Twain lip-synced.         Shania Twain… I don’t care how she looks, the song         was terrible!  And her band… what the hell kind of circus         was that?         Side note… during Sting’s "Message in a Bottle", his guitar         player looked like he was playing the chord riffs in open         position.  I thought Andy Summers played those +9 chords on         the 4th, 5th, 7th and 2nd frets.         btw… the SNL half-time weekend update wasn’t that good either.         Jimmy Fallon’s "Experience" band skit was lame.         Frank G.

Yeah, you could hear them working things out as they went along. Odd, I like listening to that. >    Shania Twain… I don’t care how she looks, the song >    was terrible!  And her band… what the hell kind of circus >    was that?

Fucking embarassing. It looked like a caricature of a rock show from a saturday morning cartoon. However, I DO care how she looks and damn she knows how to dress for me. Guess I’m just a sucker for a chrome bra. Ron Delenda est Carthago

ha… yep… those band guys looked like they were Disney World         employees on their lunch break. >However, I DO care how she looks and damn she knows how to dress for >me. Guess I’m just a sucker for a chrome bra.

        Heavy metal…         Frank G.

They recorded that "live" in a studio and might have sang along with the track but it wasn’t all live. Outt.. Jeff.
