Question:
[big Oznip] >Some people
complain that Ozzy uses the F-word too much here, but I say HUG ‘em! – Suzanne HA, you have just been censored by MEEEE!!!! BTW, my favorite moment from Live&Loud is the short orgastic part where Zakk Wylde goes absolute apeshit and starts shout all of a sudden like a horny bastard. That always cracks me up when I need a good laugh. Sani "Make your own truth, keep it in the heart and live it through." -Spoxy’s truth – copyrighted by the Extra Testicles 1999.

Thanks for the responses (email & posted), everyone. I’m gonna go with both Diary of a Madman, and The Ozzman Cometh. Diary was mentioned by almost everyone. And getting Ozzman Cometh is a great idea too, so I can see which one to get next…I’m sure I’ll love it. I probably won’t post much on this newsgroup, seems how I don’t know shit about Ozzy or BS, but I’ll at least lurk so I can learn from you guys! Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking for a while. I just started listening to my local hard rock/heavy metal radio station a few months ago, and they play Ozzy and BS constantly. And I dig it! So I’d like to know what’s the best first solo Ozzy album to buy. I like every single that they’ve played on the radio so far, except I’m not too crazy about Mama I’m Coming Home. So what’s the best album for an Ozzy newbie to buy? Thanks! Dixie "Innocent friction, boys and girls are stealing my oxygen Sex? There’s no such thing! Buy Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman at once. No cd collection is complete without them. Tony. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – >Hey everyone, I’ve been lurking for a while. Hmmm, I’d agree with the poster who previously mentioned Ozzman Cometh. That way, you get to hear samples of all the different eras of Ozzy with various lineups – including some are Sabbath tracks plus an interview! Plus there is a little booklet inside that not only contains pictures of Ozzy at various stages of his musical career, but provides info on which guitarist, etc., was playing. That way you may get an idea of what your next favorite album may be.. although all Ozzy does tend to grow on ya! Another way to hear songs from various albums would be to check out one of his live albums. Among these, you may want to consider "Tribute", which was done with Ozzy’s first guitarist after he went solo .. the great late Randy Rhoads. "Just Say Ozzy" is a shorter live album, with guitarist Zakk Wylde. "Live n’Loud" really rocks, and is in video version too (I highly recommend the video!!). My fav right now is the live album with Ozzy and Black Sabbath entitled "Reunion". Some people complain that Ozzy uses the F-word too much here, but I say fuck ‘em! – Suzanne
