he didn’t play any solos songs b/c he was playing as BLACK SABBATH, not OZZY. you are suffereing from "setlist anxiety". it can be inmmediately treated by not going to concerts expecting to hear anything! electric funeral and black sabbath were prob the 2 best songs played there, tons of evil. lots of emotion put into the whole performance, that’s why iron man and paranoid can be heard for the millionth time and still be good. rob did put on an awesome as shit show. as for static-x…i PERSONALLY <no, my friend through me> think that they were ok, but the music was NOt music. it was like heavy metal rave. no melody whatsoever, just the same riff over and over and over and over and over. they did put on a good show none-the-less.

Well this was my second year to see an ozzfest and forth time to see my hero the ozzman and I can say that I was disapointed. First let me say that I love ozzy and have for as long as I can remember (I am 24). I have been to countless concerts and have seen more bands than I can name but I have never gotten such a rush as I do at an ozz show. Now with that being said I can now say that I wish that it had been an OZZFEST in stead of a SABBATHFEST. Ozzy looked and sounded great but I am so sick to death of hearing black sabbath tunes. How many times can you hear and enjoy iron man and paranoid. They are both great songs but you hear them on the radio, at ozzy shows and finally every rock band wanna be covers them. PLEASE ENOUGH ! Ozzy did not do one solo song. How can Ozzy go on stage and not do crazy train etc. I didn’t even get to hear goodbye to romance I was crushed every time I hear that I think of Randy. And I realize that many of you will let me know just how much you think I suck for saying so. But I wasn’t the only one in the crowd that thought so. They were not into it either. Elctric funeral and black sabbath drug out so long I was glad to hear them end. But I must say that the best act of the ozzfest was Rob fucking Zombie. He had a great stage set up with pyros and dancers flames and movie skits. That son of a bitch threw fucking down. My neck was killing me after he left the stage. He did not only hellbilly delux songs but astrocreep and even some off of la sexorcisto. The best song of the concert was DEVILMAN Two other bands worth checking out were static X and slipknot. Static X was really impressive they sounded like a mix of white zombie and coal chamber. As for slipknot ther were 9 members in the band, thats impressive in its self. I can’t wait till next year so I can see a true ozzfest not the sabbath fest.
