Mosh? Dear lord…if there’s any of that at Ozzfest…I mean, wouldnt you rather listen and pay attention to the BAND and not bang your body on someone elses sweaty ass? I bought rob zombies album and it sucked ass. it sounds nothing like white zombie, which I thought that it would. It sounds like a hybrid nine inch nails/white zombie, which to me sounds retarded.Old rob zombie kicks ass, new Zombie blows. Everyone I know hates the album too. Ozzy should realize that rob zombie is a mainstream sellout bastard and should be taken off of the ozzfest tour. Zombie made the worst album i have ever listened to and he is an overrated mtv loving sellout who thinks he’s still an underground success, but really sounds like an frigging homo that sat on a penis. Face it, rob zombie sucks ass and he is a sellout whose music is horrible. its almost as bad as listening to Orgy.
Response:
What the hell could you possibly have against rob Zombie?
Response:
I respect SOAD for their message and their originality. I’ve seen them live 4 times and their live show always impresses me. While I wouldn’t rush out to buy their album, I dig them a little and they’re fun to chill to live (in a club, anyway). Later, J.P.

I guess our definition of rap-core must be different then. Most of the time Serj (the singer) is singing melodically or screaming – it’s hard to rap while doing either. I’ve seen them live twice, own their album and am a part of an organization that promotes them – so i’m not a punk who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I guess our definitions are different. Could you give me an example of a song that has rapcore influences? I want to see if i can see it. — Yak. unforunatly we have bands like Puya on the second stage during those times…but its ok….there are 6 bands im going to see and 6 bands for 40 dollars is good..hell Sabbath for 40 dollars is a GIFT….Sabbath, Godsmack, Nashville Pussy, Primus, Judas Priest, and Hed (PE) will all be cool..for me at least

It has ABSOLUTELY no rap-core influences. There is not even a trace of rap on the record. Whoever said this is grossly misinformed. The last part is at least a plus. But if they aren’t out there to just kick ass, then they can come back to Ozzfest some other time because we have a max of three groups ready to kick ass. > >The middle eastern influences in their music make it 10x as interesting > >in my opinion also. how can you compare system of a downs mindless shit, to faith no more! Faith No More was an excellent band with incredible music, System of a Down is lackluster, modern kooky rap core shit…they are original Ill give them that…but god damn, who else is that awful!

I’m sorry to post off-topic, i’ll only do it once, but i have to defend System of a Down. Have you ever actually listened to their album? Those guys have strong messages and are not just out to kick some ass or get rid of their own personal traumas like so many other new metal bands.
