Also, a song might be in a minor key but that doesn’t mean it is not going to contain major chords.

Korn doesn’t play in keys – everything is diminished and atonal.  And learn how to use they’re/their/there.

HELL YEA!!! Listen to ‘Ball Tongue’ by Korn – particularly the Chorus. Just because thier modern metal, doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve respect. I’m not gonna start anything, and i know its prioabbly not most people’s music. but i just wanna say i like them because iof thier originality. on the topic, using major chords in what you would call a ‘depressing’ song perhaps is not what is quite expecting, so there you go. thats a good idead too, maybe i should write some songs like that. Yep…I thank theres a few of ‘em floatin’ around…. "Rainy Days and Mondays" "Don’t It Make Your Brown Eyes Blue" "Sad Sad Leroy Brown" and the saddest of all…."Tears Of A Clown"…. Hawkeye
