Question:
I need some advice here…im in the market for a new head and cab. I play a large assortment of music, but at the top of the list is metal, korn style things, and electronic metal (orgy/mechanical animals/etc.). Besides that, i get into jazz and classic rock often. Im looking for a head that can crank out liquid distortion, a sparkling clean, and can do some decent crunch. I need the sound to have a heavy low end, and ear bleeding highs. So far the amp that has really caught my attention was the MESA/Boogie triple recto. It is my main choice for now, but i was wondering if anyone out there had any recomendations/comments. and along with that, some cab advice. i pretty sure about getting the recto 4×12, but marshalls have always been hailed as being really good. again, any advice/comments are appreciated. send to either my a-mail address or post here, much thanks. justn

ROFLMAO!! Whew…… Well dh, I was going to give some advice, but when I read the "…metal (orgy/mechanical animals/etc.)" part of your post, I came to the realization that I’m obviously over the hill …out of the zone …beyond the geezersphere …so to speak. I haven’t a clue what "mechanical animal" music is, so I feel it would be remiss of me to make any recommendations on what amp would sound good when playing it. ……it is music, right?
