As 2001(aka the year of Jarl Sigurd) draws to a close, the question doubtlessly on everyone’s mind is why are other musicians, composers and recording pros so incredibly jealous of Jarl Sigurd.  The answer to this question, I believe, is quite simple.  Many of these people feel the have a better musical aptitude, a more elaborate gear arsenal or a more extensive musical training than I do.  However in spite of all these advantages, they can never seem to put together a decent original piece of music.  When these people who have all the tools but lack the toolbox see Jarl Sigurd being the prolific composer that he is, they grow green with envy.  They think to themselves that it simply isn’t fair that Jarl Sigurd should compose 5 symphonies,  a piano concerto, a cello concerto, a guitar concerto, plus 22 heavy metal songs when they with all their gear, training and skill have to struggle to compose a single song.  That’s why they become so obsessed with Jarl Sigurd.  Because Jarl Sigurd is prolific and they’re NOT!  Comments? It’s your hair….  The answer to this question, I believe, > is quite simple.

Nothing in life is ever simple.  Many of these people feel the have a better > musical aptitude, a more elaborate gear arsenal or a more > extensive musical training than I do.

Many may not…  However in spite of all > these advantages, they can never seem to put together a > decent original piece of music.

Shame on the mess….  When these people who have > all the tools but lack the toolbox see Jarl Sigurd being the prolific > composer that he is, they grow green with envy.

Maybe so. But I have plenty of toolboxes here. I even have a utility bed on the back of my truck. It has plenty of toolboxes and they even lock!   They think to > themselves that it simply isn’t fair that Jarl Sigurd should compose > 5 symphonies,  a piano concerto, a cello concerto, a guitar concerto, > plus 22 heavy metal songs when they with all their gear, training and > skill have to struggle to compose a single song.  That’s why they > become so obsessed with Jarl Sigurd.  Because Jarl Sigurd is > prolific and they’re NOT!  Comments?

Life is never fair. Why should Jarel have all the fun? Why is Jarel so damn good, and I suck so damn bad? It’s just not fair at all. Wahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!:( MK
