Yamaha John Myung 6-stringer

Question:

Hi, does anybody know what are the neck widths at nut and at 24th fret of the bass? Looks like a fairly thin neck. And what’s the string spacing? thanks, -Jona

I don’t know the exact dimensions, perhaps the Yamaha web page at http://www.yamaha.com ? I did try the bass and I think you’re spending most of the money on the "kewl" infinity inlay.  The TRB6 & John Pattitucci basses are much nicer; although the necks are definitely wider.  The Myung seemed to have more in common with the cheaper RBX line IMHO. — Carl Christensen             Philadelphia, PA USA

The web page is www.yamahaguitars.com, but they don’t have much info. >I did try the bass and I think you’re spending most of the money on >the "kewl" infinity inlay.  The TRB6 & John Pattitucci basses are much >nicer; although the necks are definitely wider.  The Myung seemed to >have more in common with the cheaper RBX line IMHO. >– >Carl Christensen             Philadelphia, PA USA

What store did you find it at, and how much were they selling it for? Ken Leschinsky
