Why doesn't Ozzfest come to New York!

Question:

- Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> Yeah, I live in Tucson and this year I’m flying to the Indy show, then going > to the Phoenix show, then flying to California for the San Bernardino show. So > all 3 of those shows are further than one would have to go to see the Jersey > show from NY.

Response:

Oh shut the hell up-at least you have the option to go every year, they completely ignored the west coast last time around, we would have had to drive 1200 miles last year to get from CA to Ohio or whever the closest date was, to get from Long Island to Jersey is friggin 50 miles, who are you to complain? – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->Ever since Ozzfest began a couple of years ago it has never come to New York >one of the biggest markets in the world can someone explain that to me.  Ozzy >always comes to New York on his solo tours and Black Sabbath made a stop here >during the reunion tour but, for some ungodly reason Ozzfest does not come to >New York and us New Yorkers have to travel to shitty Jersey to see the GOD of >metal. >If anyone knows why ozzfest continues to overlook New York for the past 3 >years >let me know I am curious. >Scott >Long Island New York

I guess I should consider myself lucky.  My dorm is 11 miles from riverport amphitheatre in St. Louis, and 22 miles away from home.  I’ve been to the last 2 ozzfest and will be at this one hopefully.  Too bad I missed ‘96 though because I went to Syria that summer.  Ozzy Rules. Omar
