Well, better than what we have to deal with now, at least.  But I can see Korn popping up for a 90’s grunge/hip-hop nostalgia tour in 25 years.  I just can’t see me going. <snip my own post> >That’s most likely what will happen.  After getting too much Korn, the pop >industry will get sick of them and chuck them into the toilet in just a few >more months.  Hand in there, people!

I still don’t see anyone handing in there.  I still also have no idea what that means. — High Voltage Cable AIM:  JoshCable  —  ICQ#: 19494247 http://www.tir.com/~jtcable/lewispage.html Xenogears sucks. Yes, and maybe we can get a few others chucked while we’re at it… > — > High Voltage Cable > AIM:  JoshCable  —  ICQ#: 19494247 > http://www.tir.com/~jtcable/lewispage.html > Xenogears sucks. > You play your cards right and you’ll deal yourself an ace > That’s where you’ll find me standing proud

Well, it looks like I’m just going to go for Sabbath. I like some Zombie stuff, so maybe them too, and da Foo is tolerable too. I’ve heard some Godsmack, and they’re okay for what they do, but the rest is shit. Oh well, if this is true, I’ll still have a fun time. !?! Was he suddenly not in White Zombie at all, now?  Did he not leave and now do some really cool song called Dragula? I’m not a fan either, actually.  And Korn dies! — High Voltage Cable AIM:  JoshCable  —  ICQ#: 19494247 http://www.tir.com/~jtcable/lewispage.html Xenogears sucks. , I might not even go this year. JK. I’m  going b/c of Ozzy/Sabbath and Fear Factory. Hopefully,  Type O Neg shows up.  The other bands like Coal Chamber, I can do without. And last year Tool and Megadeth didn’t do it for me. I’m still waiting for just an Ozzy tour again like the "No More Tours" Tour. Fred

To each his own I guess. I don’t like them at all. While preferable to Korn, I can easily think of a dozen+ other bands I’d rather see. > Fred

Response:

well, if ozzfest is gonna go in this direction then I would suggest a bunch of bands that I am really into…such as Candlebox, Brother Cane and Godsmack (which is already listed).  I wouldn’t really want Bro. Cane there, but Candlebox is a good show stealer and they travel a lot anyways so I think they would be a good addition even if they aren’t metal. DrMatrixx PS: Don’t forget about Coal Chamber…they’ve been there every year now.

Response:

personaly i’d like this lineup, except for Foo Fighters and Kid Rock, who are just plain annoying Kronox Satomian

there was an article a little while ago about Rage Against the Machine and Rammstein and some other goofy bands playing Ozzfest.  Well, it either just got better or worst.  You tell me after what this girl (Blair R. I dunno, I kinda like Foo Fighters, but they’re not at all "metal."  I guess in a way, Ozz is stuck between a rock and a hard place.  He probably can’t get the really big metal bands like Priest and Maiden, Slayer, etc.. the smaller ones like Blind Guardian are too unknown to most Americans to be a real draw. Ministry is far from metal, too.. good, yes, but not metal. >What happened to metal? >-Andrew
