Speak Of The Devil has not been discontinued for the reason you state. Daisley and Kerslake are not even on that album. Speak Of The Devil is shown as still available from CDNOW. Luckily, I bought Speak of the Devil back in December of 2000. And I didn’t even know it was going to be discontinued. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Ozzy dislikes SOTD/TOTD for a number of reasons. It was made more or less to get out of a contract, Ozzy never wanted to do it the way it came out to begin with! It also represents a painful, traumatized time in Ozzy’s life – the loss of a dear friend and partner – so he finds the album somewhat of a mockery of Randy’s memory. While not directly quoted, he’s said this in one way or another many times over the years. On the overdub issue, I don’t think the Ozzy camp has had any trouble with Tommy Aldridge or Rudy Sarzo – correct me if I’m wrong! I still say that if anyone should have made the overdubs on Blizzard and Diary it should have been Tommy and Rudy.

Actually I think Speak of the Devil is not being made anymore due to: A) Ozzy hates that album and doesn’t even acknowledge it as an Ozzy album. B) Epic records has Black Sabbath Reunion so there’s no need to have an Ozzy album with Black Sabbath songs when they have an album w/ the actual B.S. doing them. BUNCH OF FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!!!!!
