First off Ozzy is always going to headline Ozzfest, it’s symbolic of the name airhead. Also by the way, Ozzy doesn’t have a yank accent, he’s from England just like Maiden. Maybe you’re confused about musical legends and the what nots, no disrespect towards maiden. I suggest stay off the drugs.

I had no bloody idea Ozzy talks like a yank! I mean he is bloody british! I don’t think anyone can understand what he says cause of all those drugs and years of binge drinking! But I think maiden is cool, and they are still popular. I know maiden fans who say ,isn’t black sabbath from the sixties or seventies, or I thought Ozzy died when he ate that bat? So either way Maiden and Ozz are still attract crowds! Hey what happened to Sabbath after Ozzy, everything go straight downhill???

Ive heard that maiden will be special guests at the ozzfest, why the f**k cant they headline if black sabbath headline every year its like Rangers winnign the scottish league every year boring and predictable. Maiden will piss on sabbath no disrespect but they are far supperior creative wise and theydont have singer who speaks with a stupid yank accent

Maiden’s last few concerts attracted approx. 5000 or so crowds. The last Sabbath concert got *much* higher attendance, as did the last Ozzy solo. > Hey what happened to Sabbath after Ozzy, everything go straight downhill???

I read the same message you did, in no way was it confirmed… > why the f**k cant they headline
Because of a few things. 1)They may not be there at all, in which case the point is moot. 2)They have their own tour to do. 3)Ozzfest is for making money, they want bands to draw a big crowd. I’m afraid Maiden doesn’t have that appeal anymore, at least to your average concert goer. Sure, you’ll find a lot of Maiden fans here, at the Maiden group, etc, but when you look at the whole we’re only a minority. If you asked an average person that Ozzfest is targeted at(teens), I expect that at the mention of IM you’d get either a blank stare, an "Aren’t they an 80’s band?", or "They suck!" > Maiden will piss on sabbath no disrespect but they are far supperior > creative wise
