I have a couple of tickets to the June 19th show here in Chicago. I have a couple of things that I was wondering about. How long does Ozzy play? Is it with Sabboth the whole time? Is it worth getting fired from a good job to get to this concert? (I was told I can’t have the day off) or should I wait (and pray) for a "reunion tour" of just Sabboth without Pantera, Type O Neg. a couple of other decent bands and 12 tour busses full of shit?

Why don’t you just go to Alpine Valley on Saturday? Alpine’s atmosphere will be better for this show anyway. later Brian

You must go. This is a once in a lifetime concert. Ozzy will play about 1 hour, 1.5 maybe. depending how good of a night he’s having. Then he joins up with Sabbath for about an hour. –Adam

Ozzy plays about an hours worth of solo material with his band. His band is made up of guys I hadn’t heard of before. But they played well. After a brief intermission, Black Sabbath comes out and plays about an hours worth of stuff. From what I’ve heard so far, War Pigs, Black Sabbath, Fairies Wear Boots, Children Of The Grave, Iron Man, Paranoid seem to be the stock material with one or two wild cards thrown in. I got Into The Void at the Show I saw In Detroit. I had to work and with that and travel, I only caught the finale from Pantera, I would have really liked to have seen Type O. It was great to see Sabbath, but I wouldn’t lose a good job for it. But that may just be a perspective thing.
