This is Part 2 of the reply to you, Supernaut. (The true Wizard, not my buddy who likes to go off) We were responding to original cat who started out his post by saying Ozzy has been a joke for several years. Sorry if that wasn’t clear, but his original post wasn’t showing up.

ozzy has had john sinclair playing keyboards in the touring band for many years.  I don’t believe he sings though. the ozz might have a behind the scene singer to help out but i don’t think so. Zakk wylde used to sing back ups live (no Rest tour, and no more tours tour) but i saw the ozzmosis tour twice and i don;t think he had much effects at all a little delay maybe. if you’re hearing this on a live album be advised that you’re probably hearing a poorly blended overdub mixed with the actual vocal track. see you at ozzfest!!!

Maybe you better go the fuck back to school and not only learn how to spell, but also learn how to read.  That’s right, just take that little fucking mouse and scroll the fuck back up to where that asshole says that Ozzy is a joke.  HELLO, YEAH, HI, HOW ARE YA, WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF REALITY WHERE ASSHOLES LIKE THAT ONE WANT TO SLAM ON A BONA-FIDE FUCKING LEGEND.  Now, isn’t that better.  We can all read. Tomorrow we’ll make the hand imprint in the clay.  But for today, we’re gonna realize that Ozzy rules and that any asshole like the dickwad you’re trying to defend has their head shoved so far up their ass they don’t know which end is up! Please, do me and this whole newsgroup a fucking favor and learn how to take things in their full context before you erupt out of your fucking pie-hole and waste any more space. Once again, Ozzy fucking rules and fuck the Michael Jackson asshole lickin’ plebian cock-smoker who says he’s a joke.

Not to bring up old news, but this thing with Ozzy having a guy to do the high notes live, are you sure he wasn’t hired just to do back-ups. I got th Ozzfest video and I could swear I heard another voice at the end of the verses, but Ozzy was still singing. Anyone else hear this? Maybe, Ozzy’s voice had a delay or something, but maybe this guy is just that, a back-up singer.  I’m noy sure, I only watched the video once. =1BNot only that, but how could they do this, technically.  Ozzy is singing then when he’s about to hit the high notes he’s cut off and the other guy takes over, how could this be done?

Ozzy has been sort of a joke for years. It is one thing to add some effects (which is probably all you are hearing) but ever since the early 80’s he sounds like a robot!! Listen to "Speak of The Devil", he doesn’t even sound human, there are so many harmonizers, delays, or whatever it sounds worse than if he’d just sung and sounded like his voice was gone, like Gillan in ‘84. At least when Gillan sang you heard a guy who had been singing for years at the top of his lungs and his voice was gone but still great! Ozzy has opted for that computerized sound. Jon Henwari

There are multiple effects and modern day computer enhancements         that can make anyone sound good,On the 92 Judas Priest tour ,           they closed with Pain Killer and it was real obvious that Rob           Halford had some help.                                                                         Butch

To the Guy who said Ozzy doesn’t sound human, shove a "New Kids on the Go see him in concert and then talk. He’s sounded just fine, in fact better than he did in the mid-late ’80’s the last few times he’s been on tour. Why don’t you just sit at home with your fuckin’ Marky Mard CD and masturbate yourself into the worthless pile of wasted jizz that you OZZY FUCKING RULES!
