FS: Tube Power Supply

Question:

Hello, I have a high voltage tube power supply forsale. This tube power supply uses the UTC S42 power transformer. The 1962 Allied catalog lists it as their highest price power transformer, with the following specs at 115V, 50-60 Hz: Fil. 2 = 6.3V, 3A. Size is 4 5/8 X 5 3/8 X 5 3/8. 15 pounds!! Large choke (unknown manufacturer), Gudeman 10 uF/600V oil cap. All on black metal chassis with ceramic tube sockets, umbilical cords, power switch. Picture of the power supply:     http://expert.cc.purdue.edu/~yulius/utc.html Transformers is guaranteed. Two 5R4G rectifier tubes tested strong. Otherwise, it is sold as is due to its age. I am asking for $170 + shipping. UPS ground probably is the best way to ship the power supply. Tubes can be shipped with USPS Priority Mail. I prefer not to ship the tubes and power supply together since it will damage the tubes. Best regards, Aristo Yulius — *  Aristo Yulius                       |  Purdue University                *
