Question:
August 14, 2001 Press Release from Yngwie’s Management Yngwie Malmsteen has assembled a 100% new band which will first be heard on the upcoming South American Tour (Sept 12 – 30, 2001). If the chemisty of this team gels, this line-up may appear on the next studio album. We are very excited about this new band unit, says Mike. Doogie White (Rainbow) – Vocals Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Kiss, Alice Cooper) – Keyboards Mick Cervino (Blackmore’ s Night) – Bass Patrik Johansson (Stormwind) – Drums
Response:
With all those notes he plays, how did he find time to form a new band. No objection to Derek Sherinian, but the only Alice Cooper band that really mattered never included him to the best of my knowledge.
