Question:
I was advised to ask about this here…I usually don’t even lurk, as I only have 1 piercing & no tattoos [:(], so ya prolly won’t see me again. My question: is it possible to have one’s fingernails removed, & replaced with stainless or some other (i.e: better for this) metal? If so, where would one go to get this sort of thing done? Actually… Removing the nails is very doable. Adding metal nails are not so easy, I’m not sure what the best way to do it would be. In all honesty, it might be best just to glue metal nails to your real ones. I doubt a pocketing would be the answer, pocketings are held in by minor ammounts of tension that IMHO would not be attainable in the fingertip area, the piece would most likely fall out. Im no expert on pocketing though, or spelling for that matter 
I dont think any type of mod would result in the desired affect.
